Thick discharge is not a sign of ovulation- thin watery discharge is.
You may have an infection, this could be normal as well. Depending on
the type of pill you are on, there could be more discharge at different
times of the cycle. If you are on a pill with only one color
(monophasic) there shouldn't really be fluctuation in the amount of
discharge. If you have itching or there is odor, certainly check in
with your doc.

What I would like to know is: Can being on continuous bcp cause more discharge to occur as well as to be thick?

I told her one of the last times I was there I'm not sure exactly what is supposed to be considered normal for me when it comes to all the colors and consistencies of vaginal discharge while on continuous even though she did say that the milky white discharge that I experienced one time was normal.
