Hello again everyone!! I know that it's been a while since I've posted a question of my own but now I have yet another question. I've looked in the archives to see if I could find the answer to the question that I am about to ask. I'm on the continuous bcp in order to keep my endometriosis in check, and what I've noticed the last few days is that my vaginal discharge which is clear has become plentiful and on the thick side. What I would like to know is: Can being on continuous bcp cause more discharge to occur as well as to be thick? The reason for asking this is b/c a friend of mine told me that thick vaginal discharge is good b/c it means I'm ovulating but since I'm on the pill I know that I am not supposed to ovulate on my own (at least that is what I thought that I was told). What else could possibly be causing this amount and consistency of discharge if it's not the pill doing it? Would an infection also present itself with clear discharge or does it have to be yellow, or green only? This is concerning me and I am not sure if I should go ahead and call my dr to see what she thinks. I told her one of the last times I was there I'm not sure exactly what is supposed to be considered normal for me when it comes to all the colors and consistencies of vaginal discharge while on continuous even though she did say that the milky white discharge that I experienced one time was normal.
