Hi Amanda,

This has come up several times on the forum. You might want to check the archives.

The Dr. can see if the hymen was broken, although other things can cause this, such as tampon usage. If I recall, yes, they usually can.

The Pap Test won't tell them if you are a virgin or not, but visual exam will allow them to see the hymen. The Pap Test is used to detect problems of the cervix.
