Maria, Subchorionic hemorrhage is simply bleeding underneath the placenta, which also results in some separation of the placenta from the side of the uterus. This is what is seen is patients with a "threatened miscarriage". There is no way to determine who will loose their pregnancy and who will not, but some certainly do. The intervention that may make a difference is limiting your activity and this has really not been proven to be effective. None-the-less, I would limit physical activity and sexual activity for at least two weeks from the episode of bleeding. If you have more bleeding, then reset the clock and begin counting two weeks again... Lynn
