Montgomery, MD: "Re: Unusually Long Period" I started my period the night of the 29th after thinking I was pregnant because or extreme breast and nipple soreness. I took Levlite 28 for 8 months and was off for a month. I expected to get my period two weeks early because of this and started the same time I would have if still on the pill. My bleeding was very heavy for the first three days then slacked down. I started spotting the fifth day of my period and I am still spotting.
