I had TAH and BURCH done in November, I went home with a suprapubic cath which was removed on post op day 4, it was probably a good 3 weeks+ before I was going pretty normal again. Make sure you are drinking LOTS of water or juice. Also, make sure you use your pain medicines as needed. Good luck.
