Laser ablations aren't done anymore to my knowledge.

The overall "acceptability" rate is the same with either method. With
rollerball, there is more amenorrhea (no periods) whereas with the
balloon, there is more "lighter bleeding" but the "acceptability" (no
period, light period, normal period) is in the 80-85% range for one
procedure and goes up another 5-10% for a repeat procedure. I perform
both and have seen equivalent results in the "acceptability" category.
