Jane,
It could be a miscarriage, but unless the tissue is examined and found
to be products of conception, you are still at high risk for ectopic
pregnancy. If you have the tissue, certainly keep it in the fridge and
take it to the doc's office. If it can be tested, you can probably just
have blood tests to watch the levels go down.
