Me and others.

It would be adequate but I still like a tissue diagnosis as well (endometrial biopsy).

The sonohyst can frequently tell the difference betweena small fibroid and a polyp, not a big problem either way whereas the hyst may or may not. The hyst. can't tell you about any irregularities in the the microscopic lining of the uterus which may indicate hormonal dysfunction.
