recurring tubals

I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies in my right tube and the tube was removed, and I recently had one in my left tube, and it was treated w/ methotrexate. My question is,what are my chances of having another tubal in this tube? I have also heard that birth control pills can help prevent tubals if I were to try again. Is this true and how? Thanks so much, Leigh
