Hi Carol,

Your hCG values should double every 2-3 days, and it appears they are from what you posted. Also, according to most hCG charts I have seen, your levels are appropriate for your gestational age.

I would really try and think positive-especially in light of your valid hCG results. Two weeks from now they may indeed detect a heartbeat, but the baby needs that time to grow.

Possibly, but talk to your doctor about what might be happening.

Did they do a regular abdominal ultrasound or a transvaginal ultrasound? They may have been able to detect a heartbeat with transvaginal US, but, it is my understanding that it might be a little early for the abdominal US to detect a heartbeat.
