While it can be a side effect of HRT, elevated BP can also be caused
form a number of different causes. Your increased BP shouldn't be so
quickly blamed on the HRT. As you have shown, it appears that certain
situations cause you to have an elevated BP. Often, several BP's are
taken AT the office to see if it goes down. Also, there should be some
testing done (blood tests, cardiogram) before you are statred on
anything for your BP. If you are seeing your primary care doc, you may
want to see a gyn. If you are seing your gyn, you may want to see your
primary care. If you do have "white coat" syndrome, there shouldn't be
any reason you can't go back on HRT.
