What about going out for lunch with your mother and talking with her?
Just let her know that you would like to go to the GYN, and have an
exam. I know this is a difficult thing to do. Been there, done that.
My mother, to be honest, wasn't very accepting of this, but it turned
out that she had been through something herself when she was a child
(she went to a GYN for another opinion, at the age of 12!...She had
Endometriosis, but this GYN would not allow her Mother to stay in the
room, and was not very gentle....she was afraid something like this
might happen with me). When our Cousin told her that I was showing
maturity for wanting to go, and that she needed to understand that (That
Cousin is a GYN...retired now). It was strange, because several months
prior, I saw a GYN, my Father's boss' son, and she was fine with
it.....guess because she knew him). Any way, please talk to your
Mother. If you can't talk with her, do you have an Aunt that you are
close with that can talk to her for you???
Please, talk with your Mother, or someone that is close to you that
might be able to talk with her.
