I work as a rape crisis hotline counselor. There are confidential hotlines that you can call and speak to a counselor who can answer all your questions for you. You can find your hotline in the phone book under Crisis, or call 1-800-656-HOPE which will connect you to the closest hotline.

In my state, Colorado, having sex with someone who cannot consent for any reason is first degree sexual assault. It is a felony.

This is not your fault.

You should talk to your parents if you can. The hotline counselor can help you figure out a way to tell your parents.

You will need medical care. An exam called a rape kit can be done up to 72 hours after the rape, where a doctor in the emergency room can collect evidence that can be used to find and prosecute all the guys. Some medication can be given to your up to 72 hours after the rape to prevent pregnancy. You can be given antiboitics to prevent some sexually transmitted diseases, and you should be tested for others in a few weeks.

This is a lot of information to process right now. Please call your local hotline. The counselor is there to help you.

I wish you all the best.
