Hello everyone, About 6 months ago, I noticed a couple firm very small lumpy areas in my upper outer breast quadrant. I do not feel these in my other breast. My Gyn could feel what I am feeling. I had the mammo and US which were neg. He sent me to a breast surgeon who did not seem to be able to feel anything unusual. I just had my followup 4 months later. He said he feels what I am feeling. He did a fine needle aspiration. He did not actually get the tiny lump, but he said it would aspirate cells from the entire area. Is this 100% effective as a diagnostic tool. I just as soon have him take these out. He said he was not really concerned with these areas, but just wants to be sure. I am 51 and am on estrogen and progesterone- post supracervical hyster-3 yrs ago With sincere thanks-Anne
