Thanks Dr Wang for your response. The MSM I have heard about is a
capsule form that is taken orally. My mother has been using it for
several months now and swears it is a godsend for the ongoing pain and
headaches she has after a laminectomy in her neck. I was wanting to
find out more about this product, but it is very hard to find anything
on the 'net besides people selling it. I was curious if others had seen
success with it in patients, or knew of any serious side-effects.
It is my understanding that the FDA does not evaluate, approve, or
regulate nutritional supplements in any way. This makes it difficult
for patients to assess the value of various supplements that are
available.
Thanks,
Andrea
