Vaginal contact dermatitis has the same symptoms as any other dermatitis, itching, redness, discharge, and rash. You can be allergic to almost anything, and these two medicines are no exceptions, though neither will cause a yeast infection. A dermatitis can persist for a long time, weeks or months, if it is untreated and the causative agent is still around, but will typically resolve within a week or two if the causative agent is removed.
