High level of prolactin

My physician told me that something in my pituitary gland, and refer me to the Endocrinology. She also gives me a prescription of Parlodel. My question is do I need to take the medication for the rest of my life. Also, will it affect my pregnancy chance in the future. Will my the pituitary tumor will go away? Or it will diminish eventaully?
