FSH,Estradiol QuestionFrom: Peggy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 18 Jul 2000 11:36:31 -0500 (CDT)
Sorry to keep bringing up this question but I just got back from my Drs. visit and found the results of the FSH was 17.2 and the estradiol level was 42, reminding you that I have had a total hysterectomy and BSO and have been on Lupron for 4 months. These tests were done on 6/29. previous levels from 2/00 FSH was 36.9 and Estradiol was 57. What does this all mean ?I thought that FSH levels should be greater than 25 in menopause ?Why would FSH levels differ like this?Due to having no relief from the LLQ pain with doing lupron my Dr. has discontinued the therepy and wants to wait 1 month and recheck the levels again.Looking for the thoughts of you wonderful Drs. :) Peggy
