I've always had irregular periods over the years but lately they are really out of wak. I'm 45 yrs. old and for the past 2 months especially, I bleed really heavy for about 3 days then regular for the next 7 days. I use to only have a period for 7 days, but in the last 2 months they last for 10 to 12 days. They have also reversed. Now the first 3 days are mild and the last days are heavy.
