Abnormal Pap SmearsFrom: CMM (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 17 Jul 2000 10:54:15 -0500 (CDT)
For over three years, I have had pap readings of ASCUS due to reactive changes. One pap mentioned possibility of high grade dysplasia. I have had two colposcopies with biopsies (biopsies stated nothing), a leep cone which came back moderate/severe dysplasia. Since the LEEP in July 98, I had only one normal pap. They are all coming back ASCUS again. Doc wants to do another colposcopy after the next pap returns abnormal. I have a GREAT fear that cancer may be overlooked and am curious why I can't have a normal pap? I have NO STDs, no infections, etc.
