I wanted to let Robin and others who have answered and followed my posts
know that the path report on the two polyps was good news. No cancer
cells and a clear stalk on the larger polyp. My GI gave me the results
this week. He said the larger polyp (2 cm) could have been trouble in a
few years. Both polyps were in the sigmoid colon about 10 inches apart.
He said I will need another colonoscopy in three years. I'm so thankful
that he and my new primary care docter pushed for me to have this
procedure, mainly because of my age (50) and family history (my dad's
brother had colon cancer around age 70).
