Montgomery, MD: "Re: First month on Ortho-cyclen and period is MIA" I just finished my last active pill on Saturday for my first pack of Ortho-cyclen after switching from Micronor. When I was on the combined pill before (Demulen), my period always showed up by Tuesday, Weds AM at the latest. I abstained from sex for the first week I was on the Ortho-cyclen and have had no spotting and missed no pills. Should I just assume this is "new pill wackiness", or is the risk of pregnancy higher in the first pack of pills? Should I take a PG test before starting my next pack?
