adnexal massFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 10 Jul 2000 22:29:01 -0500 (CDT)
I am a 36 yr old in good shape. I had a adnexal mass detected on on a pelvic ultrasound on 5/17/00. A MRI was done on 5/30/00 results: approx. 2 cm hemorrhagic nodule on left ovary which was predominately bright on T1 images, did not darken with fat suppression but darkens on T2 sequences. The mass did not enhance with with gadoliniun. The right ovary contains two peripheral follicles. Some pelvic free-fluid present. Tiny nabothian cyst on uterus. Note also is made of several bilateral inguinal lymph nodes. Had second ultrasound on 7/5/00 2.4C hemorrhagic cyst on right ovary and now solid andexal mass on left ovary. Had a C125 done in June results negative. Dr wants to do another ultrasound in 6-8 weeks. My periods started coming twice a month beginning this past Feb. with frequent urination and lower back pain. (urine&blood test:normal) Thankfully they seem to be back on track. I take no medications. I would appreciate any info or better explaination on what's happening to my body, pleasssse! Thank you!!!!
