I am in my 40's and go for my pap test yearly. I just had one a few months back and it was fine. The past few times I have had intercourse..I have found that afterwards I have a bit of bleeding..not much..more like threading and then it clears up a few hours later and is gone. Someone from my town told me..and this scared me a bit..that I might have cancer. My question is ..if this had been cancer..would this not have shown up on one of my pap tests the past few years..and is this what this means..that it is cancer..could it not be an infection or something else? I am most concerned due the fact I have always had normal periods and no such problems.
