PCO-Placed on Clomid and Nolvadex?

I have PCO and am trying to have a baby. OB/Gyn placed me on Serephene 100mg/day and Nolvadex 20mg/day for 5 days. Day 1 being first day of my period. My question is Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) is a breast cancer drug. Why would I need to take this? Does it have anything to do with hormone levels? If anyone can give me some idea I'd be greatful.

Confused?
