Reply: Lynn D. Montgomery, MD: "Re: Abnormal bleeding?" Hi I have posted numerous times before on bleeding after cryosurgery well now the bleeding is gross. And I have been bleeding visibly for 3 days now.(It was microscopic bleeding before this) Well my question is, is this possibly just a part of the natural healing process of the cervix following this type of procedure? And if it isn't what possibly is causing my cervix to bleed like this? I have not inserted anything in my vagina not even a tampon or finger for a week now. Now I had a supracervical hyst and do still get monthly periods that last 2 - 3 days in length and are very scant, but my period is not due for another week and do not have any PMS signs that I normally get before menses every month. So I figured this was not my period, but then again it may be. Can my doc tell by examining me if it is my period or something else. I am worried because I am becoming very lethargic and tired from losing blood for over a week now. And I am having off and on very bad abdominal cramps. Thank you for any advice.
