All of them except the progestin only pills(Micronor), have estrogen and all of them help treat acne. Switching pills should not help the acne. Estrogen raisews the level of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) which causes a decrease in the level of FREE Testosterone. This is what helps the acne. One of the pills has collected the data on this and presented it tpo the FDA, so they can claim it in their advertising, while the others can't. They are all collecting data now. RDB
