At first I had only occassional spotting, but over time the bleeding increased to the point where it seemed I was having a constant period. I was due for my shot on June 1, but did not go. I am still having frequent, almost daily bleeding. It seems to be especially triggered by exercise and intercourse. I know that the depo can take some time to wear off, but I am wondering if I should be concerned about this abnormal bleeding? How long can I reasonably expect this side-effect to last?
