Geez and I thought I had a wild health history! LOL! DHEA textbook
definition from Taber's Med Dictionary (a gold standard reference for
medical people like me who can not remember everything!) " The most
abundant steroid found in the human body. Produced by adrenal glands
and converted to progesterone, testosterone or estrogens, adequate
levels assure normal hormone response of body" depending on what test
was used, hum... what I read is normal levels for premenopausal female
are 2.0 to 15. I am sure the docs here can tell you more, but sounds
like a basic hormone problem here. Have you been to an
endrocrinologist?
