Connie,

We are glad to have you here with us. I'm just sorry that the massage didn't help you. Thankfully, I'm not going to have to worry about using a PT for my problem since my vulvar pain flared up this time b/c of stress and no infections at least as of right now. I'm waiting to hear what the results of the culture that my dr took yesterday.

Things are quite stressful at home b/c of the caregiving situation that I find myself in, and my dr told me yesterday that I need to put my foot down when it comes to my other family members b/c they are expecting me to take on more than I can handle.

I've learned in a hurry how much the stress has affected me, and right now I'm just trying to get myself to relax. Now that I have talked this situation thru with my dr again I'm starting to relax a little bit today.

Do you have endometriosis or something like that which could be causing you to have such horrible pelvic pain? Would a chiropractor be of some help to you?

Regardless I hope that you are able to find an answer soon to this.

As for Pain Management Specialists, I went to one, and even though he did have me on meds to help with the problem that I went to him for (breast problem in 1998), but at one point when I thought that the medicines weren't helping anymore he had suggested that I go to a PT for this. I told him that I couldn't go. He asked why not, and after I explained in detail why not (biggest factor was the scheduling of time to do it) he then dropped the subject.

Please know that you are always in my thoughts, and I'm just an e-mail away if you ever want to have a private cry.

Take care,

Kristy :)
