Dear Connie,
In response to your plea for relief, I want to share some ways in which I have found relief from pain and depression.

I am also in the medical field and an avid exericser. I have also struggled with pain and the stress and depression that it can cause.

Have you considered any alternative treatments?

Both my sister and I have found pain relief through a massage technique called "myofascial release" It is a technique that releases tension in the connective tissue. I have also found very effective pain relief through acupuncture.

I know how "depressing" depression can be. I went through five months of postpartum depression and am still stuggling with it. I have found strength though prayer and believe it or not-yoga! I have been taking yoga instruction for only one month and mentally feel incredibly better. I would recommend finding a skilled practitioner that can give you some personal instruction. It is worth it.

I stumbled onto each of these treatments and am so thankful that I did. I hope you find relief. You will be a stronger person because of this.

I would really encourage you to look into some of these alternative treatments.

Amy
