left side abdominal painFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 9 Jun 2000 03:54:17 -0500 (CDT)
Hi. I'm 33. My Mother died of Cervical cancer. I go to my gyn yearly for checkups. I was originally diagnosed with Crohns' disease for 13 years and then a severly spastic colon. THe doctor's have never really understood why my pain is on the left side. I sometimes experience sharp jabbing pains and sometime more subtle lasting longer in my left abdominal area. THey burn almost. Sexual intercourse is sometimes painful. Almost like my insides are cramping and I can't relax. I'm not sure if I should go to my family doctor or my gyn. Also, what is this ca-125 blood test, I've been hearing about? THanks.
