Period is 2 days late, symptoms of pregnacy but hpt's are negative

I have felt pregnant for the past 2 weeks, I was throwing up last week
and have very sore, swollen breast. My period was due and never showed
up, I took a Home pregnancy test yesterday that ws suppose to detec 25
mui(?) and it was negative. if I were pregnant shouldn't my level be
over that by now? My last period was May 7 and my periods run 29 days,
My temp is still up and I am having a yellow discharge (no sign of
infection, itching,etc etc) For women who do not test positive until
there 6 week or so is it because the leels are low or because for some
strange reason the HCG doesn't show up in their urine? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
