Switching from POP to combined pillFrom: AMD (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 4 Jun 2000 13:52:23 -0500 (CDT)
I am weaning my baby and will be switching from Micronor to OrthoCyclen. How do I time the switch? Do I ... a. Just finish my package of Micronor and immediately start the new pack of OrthoCyclen? b. Finish the Micronor and wait for my period and start the new pills then? c. Take the Micronor until I have a period and then switch? d. None of the above? And how long on the OrthoCyclen until I'm protected? Also, should I see an improvement in my acne on the OrthoCyclen (compared to Micronor)? What about my weight? I have pretty consistently gained 2-3 lbs a month since I started the Micronor last July. Thanks, Andrea
