Believe it or not, there is a cyclic "shedding" that people go through. Often women will experience hair loss after pregnancy - about up to six months after. This is probably related to hormones and usually reverses. If you appear to be lsing hair to a point where it looks like you are missing hair, it makes sense to check with either your primary care or a dermatologist.
