You are stuck in that horrible grey area between the time that you know that you are pregnant, and the time that an U/S shows you the baby with a heartbeat. Your doctor is doing all the right things, but you are correct, a blighted ovum is a possibility. However, a normal pregnancy is also a strong possibility, and only time will tell for sure. I understand that you have strong feelings about the time of conception, but that is a very inexact method of dating, even in the most regular of women.

I know that it is hard, but try to remain positive. You do not need a Rhogam shot until you have significant bleeding. The symptoms that you are having are common in early pregnancy. I hope all goes well for you.
