I have a question regarding side effects of Oral Contraceptives. I am currently in the third week of my first ever oral contraceptive pack (Alesse). I am knowledgeable of most of the side effects from taking OC's, but I have been experiencing some side effects which I have expected, but also some cramping in my calf muscles, but no swelling or heat is present (or noticable). Is this something that is common? I have changed some of my activites and I am unsure if this is activity related or OC related. I have been unable to locate anything in the literature about it. Thank you for your time in this matter.
