Thanks to everyone who replied. I saw my doctor Monday, I am scheduled June 14 for a laprotomy to remove my right ovary, fallopian tube if scarred, and any adhesions from previous surgeries. I will be in the hospital for 2 days.

I talked to my doctor about mananging the pain. I am now taking the Vicodin every 6-8 hours, with ibuprofen. This is helping so much!

I am in much better spirits now. Thanks to all of you, I had the courage to talk about pain management with my doctor. It helped that I brought my husband along for moral support.

Keep me in your thoughts, especially on June 14.
