6 month post endometrial thermal baloon ablation

I had a Thermal baloon ablation performed in Jan. 2000. I must be one of the "failures" since I continue to have fairly heavy & crampy periods. I originally consented to the procedure due to an endometrial biopsy report of "disordered endometrium", thinking that getting rid of the offending "disorder" I could prevent more seriously abnormal endometrium from developing. My question: Since I continue to have regular monthly periods, am I to assume that my endometrium is returning to its previous state of crowding? (The D&C at ablation time returned portions of polyps along with focal crowding.) Would a second ablation be a good idea?

Thank-you

I find this forum extremely beneficial!!!! Cindy
