Black outs

Does anyone know anything related to the following scenario: When in a sitting or squatting position, usually during bowel movements, pressure causes the spine to become numb, sometimes at a fast rate, and results in fainting. Black out periods are from 5-60 seconds. There is pain and the patient is aware when this process is beginning and can sometimes avoid it by standing up and then lying down. The frequency is maybe a couple of times a year. Does this have anything to do with pinching the Sciatic or Pudendal nerves? Is this dangerous or life threatening? What can be done to correct this abnormality? I would appreciate any information on this subject. Thank you.
