Hi let me first say I am not a doc (role fidelity) but maybe I can offer one thing that may be the cause of your back pain. I am presuming you had an epidural during the surgery and this may very well be the cause of your back pain. I too had a gross back pain in my lower back after my c-section that may it almost impossible to move half the time and I was told it may be one of two things: a nerve healing from the epidural that may have been damaged during the insertion of the needle or just from laying on the operating table. A lot of people experience back pain after surgery just from laying on the table in the OR. My back pain was from the latter and it ended up just being a muscle spasm something like acontracture that wouldn't return to it's relaxed state. But it finally did after about 4 weeks. I hope this helps some and I hope the doctors may shed some light on this for you. I might not even be right with this, but I am trying help. Best of luck to you and I hope you find the answer you need regarding this.

Regards, Jill
