I have seen every pill cause acne in one patient and reduce it in another. Alesse is good, and should prevent your perimenopausal symptoms. It will prevent pregnancy, and may even help your acne. Try it, 3-4 months is a fair trial, and then change if the symptoms are too great. Good Luck
