cesareanFrom: Lisa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 20 May 2000 08:12:48 -0500 (CDT)
I have had my 3rd cesarean and my tubes tied about 5 weeks ago. This is my 3rd c-section...having at least 5 years between each one. I feel well enough now to get through a day at home. However, my back hurts so badly that I can't make it through daily outings or normal housework. I didn't experience anything like this with my other two. I was even anxious to get back to work after my second one. My back pain is also causing me to feel like I have a constant stomach virus. It's probably too early from my surgery to worry about this. Still yet, I can't find any information about cesarean side effects regarding back pain. I'm due to get my 6 week checkup and release to go back to work in a few days. I don't feel like I can do that. I don't want to look like a complainer either! Can anyone else relate to this or shed light on how to make the pain go away?
