Does one have to have pain to have adenomyosis? From: Debbie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 20 May 2000 01:38:15 -0500 (CDT)
I would think just heavy bleeding with all causes ruled out would make a doctor suspicious adeno could be the culprit...but not my doctor or the second opinion I saw. Sure I had menstrual cramps with those floods for periods I had for two years..but no where near what woman with adeno I have talked with had/have. Two aspirin free exederin would kill those cramps for me. Can an ablation last if the cause is adeno? My doctor said I would still get cramps with an ablation and I don't anymore:) He did say if I did have adeno(which he didn't think so..think he said that to me to "humor me", if you will)..it probably was a mild case and the ablation would fix me all up..hope he was right:) Thank You:-)
