A mobile, round, somewhat firm cyst can develop that may drain once in a while. Excision usually does the trick. In general she should keep the area dry (perhaps by using a blow dryer after she bathes) and use sitz baths (epsom salts). This area usually heals quite nicely. I hope everything turns out well.
