hairFrom: Christina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 18 May 2000 21:45:14 -0500 (CDT)
The women in my family have dark hair, but nothing excessive. Gradually since I hit puberty I have gotten hair in different places. My face has a lot of blond hair on it, I have dark hair on my upper lip and chin, my eyebrows are very prominant. I have electrolysis done on my face, but I am still very aware of how noticeable the hair is. I have dark hair on my stomach too that I use nair to get rid of. Well, the whole deal is a pain to deal with and everything, but I guess I am not just trying to complain. I want to know how I could have become this way when no other person in my family, up through all of my grandparents, male and female, are hairy like I am. I have read about hormone imbalances and stuff like that. Could I have too much testosterone or something? I am 22, thin and naturally muscular, and have a small chest. I also have had some problems with acne for about 10 years.
