Whacked-out hormones?From: AMD (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 17 May 2000 18:36:38 -0500 (CDT)
I have been gradually weaning my 11-month-old baby. We've been down to 2 feedings a day for a month or so, and I just cut down to 1 a day a couple weeks ago. The last few days I have been ridiculously hot and sweaty all the time. I'm sitting there sweating when other people are ready to turn the AC off. Something as simple as changing a diaper can lead to a hair-drenching sweat. And my skin is breaking out something awful. I have been taking Micronor and my periods have not resumed since the pregnancy. Does this sound like hormonal fluctuations? Would that be consistent with weaning? How long should I give for this stuff to work itself out before seeing a doctor? Thanks, Andrea
