I have had unexplained uterine bleeding for the last 2 months.

doctor says this is what is causing it....

He reccomends a D&C.....

My question is ....

Is a D&C safe to be have in the doctor's office? He has a anesthologist schedule to come into his offce while he does this for me on Thurs.My doctor says I will be asleep .....

My mother had a D&C in a hospital 20 years ago....she stayed 2 nights.....

Isnt this a little invasive to have done in a doctor's office? I am scared....and a worry wart too!

I asked about post op pain. He said just some cramping. Can you confirm that is all it is?

Do all of you doctors do this now in your offices? With an anesthologist ?

I didnt get the chance to ask doctor what would happend if I did not have this done.....so I am asking now :o)
