There was mention of being perimenopausal. I have spotting, one day there and the next day dry. My periods are also too far apart--40+ days sometimes. When it finally starts it lasts for about nine days with very heavy bleeding for about seven days- soaking one tampon in about 40 minutes. In the past things were quit normal.
